The European Union could “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it calls “unjustified” travel bans issued by the United States against five Europeans involved in fighting digital hatred and disinformation, an EU official has said.

European Leaders Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’

European leaders such as the French president accused Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the visa restrictions targeted individuals who have been at the heart of campaigns to enact legislation regulating American tech companies.
