He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Friend and Collaborator

In a different tribute, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official ruled to bar the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, following a petition from the local authorities.
